India’s number one short video app – Moj, is all set to launch its latest digital talent hunt #MojNextPunjabiStar. Curated specifically for the platform’s Punjabi-speaking community, this all-new talent hunt gives budding entertainers a chance to showcase their flair to national audiences and win incredible prizes. The campaign will be spread across four weeks on the Moj app, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to display their talent and to be judged by popular Punjabi singer, Akhil.
#MojNextPunjabiStar to be hosted by Moj creator Priyanka Tyagi, is an attempt to engage with the budding Punjabi-speaking creator community while amplifying their talent. #MojNextPunjabiStar goes live on November 22nd, 2021. The participants will be judged based on the engagement on their content, week-on-week top ten performers will receive shopping vouchers as prizes. After three weeks, 30 participants with the highest engagement on their content will move to the finale. These shortlisted participants will then fight for the coveted title and three winners will be announced on 24th December 2021. The top three winners will be awarded 2.5 lakh, 1 lakh and fifty thousand rupees respectively.
As a platform, Moj gives room to creators to showcase their different talents. Interested applicants can showcase their creativity in any space, be it cooking, singing, dancing, magic tricks, etc. genres to name a few. The platform has also consciously taken steps to not limit the number of audition entries per person or the number of categories a creator chooses to demonstrate their talent in.
