Mother’s Day celebration at DAV 15 Chandigarh

Mother’s Day was celebrated with lot of enthusiastic zeal in the portals of D.A.V. Model School, Sector 15, Chandigarh. In order to pay a tribute to the motherhood, the children of Pre-Nursery to Class 5 invited their mother’s to their school. It was a day of fun and frolic where the young ones spent quality time with their mother’s and expressed their love for them. The guests of honour were the mother’s and they felt very special.

Students enthralled them with their vibrant, colourful performances. The day proved to be very exciting as all the mother’s enthusiastically participated in various competitions like making photo-frames, bags, and cards. They also enjoyed various fun games organised by the school authorities like newspaper dance, candle blowing, balloon bursting. Lovely craft items prepared by the children were given as a token of love to their mothers.

Later the principal of the school Mrs. Anuja Sharma congratulated all the mother’s and gave away prizes to the winners. The function ended with a positive note.
