HANDS OVER MEMORANDUM TO CM HARYANA, CALLS FOR IG’S TRANSFER & SUSPENSION

Ms Bharti Arora, a Senior IPS Officer of Haryana now holding additional charge as IG (Vigilance), Gurugram is again in the news for the wrong reasons. Jyotsana Bhardwaj a resident of Gurugram has alleged that Bharti Arora is again using her clout as a senior IPS officer to harass her since she is pursuing a case against Ajay Bhardwaj –husband of Jyotsana, whose sister Chanchal Bhardwaj is a close friend of Bharti.  Jyotsana has also handed over a memorandum to Chief Minister, Haryana in this regard. “National Commission for Women(NCW) has promised action against the IG, & I will also be meeting PM on the issue.” Said Jyotsana.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bharti Arora, had earlier also misused her official position as Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Gurugram, to help the accused in the said cases lodged by Jyotsana and on being found to be in the wrong, she was transferred out from Gurugram and was posted as Director & Principal of Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, Sonepat.  However Bharti Arora has now been able to get additional charge as I.G. (Vigilance) Gurugram, and has taken up the task of settling scores with Jyotsana.

It is noteworthy that the cases pertain to main accused Ajay, who had married Jyotsana in bigamous matrimony without disclosing that he already, was married and not divorced.

Jyotsana informed that after taking additional charge in Gurugram, Bharti Arora got a false FIR lodged against her related to trespassing. Jyotsana alleged in the press conference that Bharti arora is harassing all those police personnel who had arrested Ajay Bhardwaj under Sections 420,406, IPC. “Since she has been posted as IG Vigilance Gurugram she has been pressurising police officers to harass those police personnel who did not bow to her and asked for a departmental enquiry against them. She even gave a message to them that let Jyotsna come and beg for forgiveness.” Said Jyotsana.  In the process Bharti Arora sent a message through a subordinate official that in case Jyotsana would plead with her she would try to get departmental inquiries cancelled.  On this Jyotsana went to the official residence of Bharti Arora.  She was received at the residence by the subordinate officials of IG and was made to sit in the drawing room. Bharti Arora however sent a message through the orderly that she should come another day. “I then walked out of the house. However, to my utter dismay I learnt that a trespassing FIR had been registered against me on directions of the IG.  The contents of the FIR were that I who myself am a victim had trespassed her official residence and tried to harm her.” Added Jyotsana.

Jyotsana informed the media that the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court has passed orders on 16.2.17 not to take any coercive action against her & had also summoned Bharti Arora. “The Supreme court had given 24 hours police protection to me and had ordered Gurugram police to take necessary action; but in a clear cut case of contempt of court Bharti  Arora had  threatened Jyotsana‘s gunman through SHO Sushant Lok Gurugram and told him not to do work for me. I am roaming around without police protection & if something happens to me both the Bhardwaj family-my In Laws & the State will be responsible.” Retorted Jyotsana.

Jyotsana demanded in the press meet that exemplary action should be taken against the IG Vigilance, Gurugram, Bharti arora as she has shown disrespect to the Apex court “I call for immediate intervention of CM Haryana who I also want to ask why the officer has been posted back to Gurugram despite the inquiry indicting her? I demand immediate transfer of Bharti out of Gurugram so that she cannot influence the investigation and arm twist a single lady already wronged by a bigamist. After this proceedings of her suspension should be initiated as Bharti is not worthy of wearing the uniform.”

At the press meet Jyotsana’s supporters held placards against Bharti Arora & which called for action against the IG. In this ironical situation a lady is hell bent to fix another. The situation has come to such a position that Jyotsna and her kids fear for their lives.
