National institute of Personnel Management (Punjab Chapter) covering states of Punjab, Himachal Pardesh, J&K and Chandigarh organized a Business Quiz in association with Amity Global Business School In Mohali on 11TH August,2017 .The event was organized at Amity Global Business School Mohali . 12 Student Teams from prominent Business Schools in Punjab participated in the Contest .The quiz competition had three rounds ie Written test, buzzer round and rapid fire round.. Teams from Thapar ,IMS Bhaddal, Amity Global Business school, Chandigarh group of colleges among others participated in the well attended quiz Competition.
The winning teams and 2nd runner up were from LM Thapar School of Management and 1st runner up team was from Amity Global Business School. Winners were presented with cash rewards & mementos while participants were given certificates. The top two teams(winner & 1st runner up) will participate at regional level competition of National Institute of Personnel Management to be conducted at New Delhi by end August,2017. The quiz was conducted by Dr SK Sharma, a renowned Trainer.
Dr Shivali Dhingra , Director Amity Global Business school , Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion .She appreciated endeavor of NIPM (Pb Chapter) in organizing Business Quiz which has enhanced knowledge & created awareness amongst Management students. She assured that in future also Amity will collaborate with NIPM for organizing such events for the benefit of students. Mr SP Bansal Chairman NIPM(Punjab chapter) gave introduction of NIPM and welcomed the participants . He also highlighted future plans of NIPM including enrolment of student members in NIPM . Dr MMS Aulakh Co-ordinated with Amity Global Business School for conduct of the competition.
Mr SB Khullar , Vice Chairman NIPM(Pb Chapter) while proposing vote of thanks congratulated all the winners and , participating teams. He also thanked Amity Global Business School for providing all the support for conduct of the quiz competition. The event was attended by large number of students and was a great success.
NIPM (Punjab Chapter) Executives team comprising Mr. AK Bakshi- Honorary Secretary, Mr SB Khullar and Dr MM Singh ,Vice Chairmen , Mr Jasbir Singh, Additional Hon’ Secretary, were also present.
