Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr) Anita Kaushal, Science Society of PGGCG-11 Chandigarh celebrated National Science Day in collaboration with CREST on today to commemorate the invention of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist, Sir C.V Raman.
The science undergraduate and post graduate students enthusiastically participated in the celebration. The theme of the celebration is “Women in Science” to raise public appreciation on scientific issues. It is an endeavour to highlight the contribution of women in the field of Sciences and Technology.
Mr. Debendra Dalai,IFS Chief Secretary officer CREST ,Chandigarh was the chief guest on this occasion. Dr.Pooja ,Senior Scientist CSIR –CSIO Chandigarh delivered a lecture on the theme. Principal Prof. (Dr) Anita Kaushal motivated and appreciated the students for participation.
