The JEE Advance examination was held on May 27 in the online centers of 155 cities of the country for admission in 11279 seats of prestigious 23 IIT institutes across the country. Allen Career Institute, Chandigarh students created history for the institute as Jayesh Singla of Patiala bagged AIR-17 thus becoming the IIT-North Zone topper (Male).

It is noteworthy that the IIT North zone topper (Female) Tanu Goel of Barnala too is from ALLEN Chandigarh and has bagged AIR 272. Other achievers from Allen are Shrey Singla from Ludhiana who has bagged AIR 36, Shivesh Gupta of Panchkula has bagged AIR 108, Deepanshu Garg of Barnala has bagged AIR 142, Antreev Singh Brar of Abohar has bagged AIR119 and Satvik Bansal of Dera Bassi has bagged AIR 238 to became the toppers in JEE Advance 2019 from Allen Career Institute, Chandigarh.

ALLEN Career Institute has produced AIR 1 from its Mumbai Centre classroom programme.

Jayesh Singla AIR-17 in JEE Advance 2019 was AIR 4 in JEE MAINS and has also cleared Stage-1 of InCho (International Chemistry Olympiad), InPho (International Physics Olympiad), International Astronomy Olympiad, RMO, ZIO, cleared KVPY, NTSE and selected in OCSE for Astronomy. Jayesh’s father Mr. Ajay Kumar Singla and Mother Mrs. Monika Gupta are both Doctors by profession but their son chose to be an engineer by profession. Jayesh’s aim is to be a Computer programmer after passing out from IIT Mumbai.

Shivesh Gupta of Panchkula bagged AIR 108 to become the third Tricity topper whereas Pranjal Beniwal of Panchkula bagged AIR 282 to become the female Tricity topper. Shivesh’s father Mr. Vinay Vishnu Gupta is working in the insurance Sector and Mother Mrs Neeru Bala is a house wife. Pranjal is the daughter of Bussinessman Mr. Sunil Beniwal and Mrs Sunita Beniwal.

Allen Chandigarh has the distinction of producing maximum number of selection in JEE Advance 2019 from Chandigarh City. Almost every Second student of Allen who appeared in JEE Advance 2019 from Chandigarh City has qualified for IIT. Allen Chandigarh Centre has produced the largest number of selection in JEE Advance 2019 from any single institute in Chandigarh.

The Centre Head of ALLEN, Mr. Pushkar Rai, who is also an expert in Chemistry and was the mentor of Jayesh Singla while he studied in the institute, revealed that Jayesh was a very sincere and obedient student who diligently followed all the instructions given to him in letter and spirit. He was a keen observer and has tremendous interest in conceptual thinking, never wanting to indulge in rote learning. Even in the most archetypical situations, he prefers rational thinking over mugging up and this was his key to success. Mr Pushkar Rai applauded his academic team as well as students for turning the collective dream of seeing ALLEN at the top flourishing into reality.
