The Path Seekers Society of DAV College Sec-10, Chandigarh organized a deeply enlightening online talk on ‘Keeping Calm in Crisis’ by BK Sister Preeti.
Dr. Ghanshyam Dev, Head, Dept of Political Science and Teacher-in charge of the Path Seekers Society, welcomed the sister and all the participants, wherein he elaborated how strongly the need of such talks is felt considering the tumultuous times that we’re surviving in.

Thereafter, Sister Preeti shared her sagacious thoughts on how and why we find ourselves caged by the outer world. She emphasized the importance of baring the outer world from disturbing our inner peace, to be able to give instead of seek for the things that we’re entitled to, to end ignorance, and screening the constant waves of information that we bombard ourselves with.

As she wisely said “We are what we think”, she helped us rise from the trivial impediments that farcely seem insurmountable and made us realise our true spiritual strength.

The event was moderated by Vivek, President of the the society. The talk was followed by a meditation session and a question-answer round in which topics like depression, suicide, laziness and work life balance were discussed.

The event ended with a Vote of Thanks by Prof(Dr.) Ghanshyam Dev.
