In order to make Chandigarh tricity an IT hub, while several overseas companies are constantly exploring new investment options here, other regional companies based at Chandigarh are also cashing on investor friendly environment, available resources and local talent and have made up their mind for their expansion here. Aligned with the same mindset, ‘Outline Systems’ which is currently operational from Industrial Area, Chandigarh and US based Virginia, has further strengthened its net worth of Rs 3000 crores to plan their expansion in Mohali with an investment of about Rs 200 Crores.
The company’s owner and CEO Anil Sharma while addressing the media at Chandigarh Press Club on Friday said that this is the biggest ever investment of this company which came into existence in the year 1997. The company has an employee’s base of about 6,000 in both the US and Chandigarh offices, while with this investment, the company will provide employment opportunities to around 3000 youth of this region as part of their strategy in the coming future. The new office of the company which is to expand upto 60,000 Sq feet is all set for rolled out and will be inaugurated on Monday, 30 August.“Our vision is to be the IT and KPO industry leader by becoming trusted partner of Customers and creating sustainable employment for the local youths to build, empower and serve the communities in which we live and work.” said Anil Kumar.
Journey of IT Empire from 100 dollars to Rs 3000 crore networth
Technocrat Anil Kumar was serving at a distinguished position in the National Informatics Center (NIC) of Chandigarh Administration till 1996. Thereafter, after his volunteer retirement from the job, Anil Kumar started a small IT company by using his entrepreneurial acumen to go to Virginia in US based with Chandigarh with just a 100 dollars investment which has not grown upto Rs 3000 crores network at present.
Started its expansion by donating to PGI
Expressing its moral responsibility towards the society, the company well before their expansion plans had given a donation of ten lakh rupees to PGI, Chandigarh to overcome the corona epidemic crisis. Anil Kumar who believes in the principle of ‘return something to the society’, feels there could not have been a better start to this auspicious work of his expansion by donating to the PGI Welfare Fund. Company also donated Rs 5 lac in PM Relief Fund and initiated various relief works in association with Chandigarh Administration during Covid 19 pandemic
