Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi condoles the passing away of Mrs. Iqbal Kaur Randhawa, at the age of 101, wife of late Dr. M S randhawa, founder President of Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi, former President AIFACS, Delhi, Former Chairman, and founder Punjab Arts Council, former VC, PAU, former Chief Commissioner Chandigarh.
Mrs. Randhawa passed away last night after being ill for the past few weeks.
She is survived by Her Son Jatinder randhawa, daughter in law Pinki, grandsons Satinder and Ranjit and Randhawa and a daughter. Her elder Son Surinder and his wife Doris Randhawa paased away sometime ago.
Diwan Manna, President Punjab Lalit kala Akademi and a friend of Randhawa family expressed deep sorrow at the loss of an active and enthusiastic supporter of all causes related to the arts. She was active till the time of falling ill and would alewyas be available whenever her presence was required for any activity being undertaken by the Akademi.
She played an important role during her time with Dr. Randhawa as a staunch supporter and partner in shaping the destiny of the art scene of punjab and around.
