The State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon celebrated the 69th Republic Day by unfurling the national flag at party office Kamlam along with Sh Dinesh Kumar General Secretary Organization, Councillors, and Chandigarh BJP team members from District No. 1 to 5. On this occasion Chandigarh BJP Art and Cultural team organised a play “Shankhwad” based on Chanakya which was very enthusiastic and all the artists gave an excellent performance.
Later Tandon also hoisted the National Flag at a programme organised by Chandigarh BJPMinority Morcha in Sector-45, along with Prem Kaushik General Secretary, Raghubir Arora Senior Vice President, District President Devi Singh, Mandal President Arvinder Gujral, Councillor Kanwarjit Singh, Minority Morcha President Amjad Khan, Councillor Haji Khursheed, Gajender Sharma Office Secretary and residents of the area. After this he attended the programme organised by Rahul Soni and Motor Market Association in Sector-48, on occasion of Republic Day and hoisted the National Flag along with Raghubir Arora Sr Vice President, Prem Kaushik General Secretary, District President Devi Singh, Mandal President Ravi Prabhakar, Seniorr Deputy Mayor Gurpreet Dhillon, Councillors Bharat Kumar, Sachin Lohtia Gajender Sharma and also distributed books and other stationery material to small children.
Besides he unfurled the national Flag on Republic Day during the programme organised in Ramdarbar, Chandigarh where an excellent performance was given by students from Sarvhitkari School. He also distributed spectacles to the persons who got their eyes checked in the eye check up camp held few days back. Raghubir Arora Senior Vice President, Prem Kaushik General Secretary, Devi Singh District President, Guddie Bansal Mandal President, Councillors Bharat Kumar, Haji Khursheed, Office Secretary Gajender Sharma, Mahila Morcha District President Indrani, Rajinder Billu, Khush wonder Singh and residents of the area attended the programme.
Tandon also hoisted the National Flag in Bapudham, Chandigarh on Republic Day today along with Raghubir Arora, Prem Kaushik, Mandal President Rajkishore, Councillor Vinod Aggarwal and resident of the area. A beautiful bengali dance was presented by small children also a interesting puppet show was also presented.
Later on he attended the Republic Day programme organised in Sector-28, and distributed prizes to children who performed in different fields. Raghubir Arora, Prem Kaushik, District President Shakti Devshali, Devi Singh and Mandal President Jaspreet Singh were also present.
