In a bid to express gratitude to all-prevading nature plus creating awareness on growing environmental problems, Riverdale Aerovista – a majestic & beautiful real estate project at Mohali, distributed plant saplings on the eve of Lohri festival at the upcoming Riverdale Shopping Arcade at their Aerovista location, celebrating Lohri festival in its true spirit. The Group also handed over blankets to a tricity based NGO “I Am Still Human(IASH)” for distribution among needy farmers from Punjab & Haryana who are struggling in the chilling cold through the long-drawn agitation stalemate between the govt & the farmers.


Col Inderjeet Kumar, President, Strategic Planning & Corporate Relations, Riverdale Aerovista Group said, “We chose to deliver one of our group’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives on this occasion of Lohri which is a festival of all Indians across the globe. We distributed plants in beautiful handmade eco-friendly pots to all our patrons & business associates as an awareness effort on  Nature & Ecology. We have also given blankets and other warm clothing to NGO IASH whose volunteers will distribute these to farmers braving the harsh cold in the ongoing farmers’ protest.
Sanjeev Jindal, CEO, Riverdale Group said, “Lohri is celebrated as an extremely popular & auspicious festival which marks the beginning of the harvest season of Rabi crop. We decided to truly dedicate this festival to Nature and to our  Farmers through distribution of plant saplings. Employees of Riverdale Aerovista and the banking partners associated with the Group were also present. During the occasion, everyone celebrated with traditional fervor and performed folk dances around a bonfire. Roasted corn, jaggery, and gachak were also distributed among the guests, while marking  end of the winter and beginning of 2021, an year of Hope, Inspiration & Growth !!
