The State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon, flagged- off Walkathon to promote Clean city, Save water and Pollution free environment. The initiative was taken by Swami Gurukirpanand Ji & Swami Umeshanand ji, of Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan from Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sec-32, Chandigarh.
While speaking on the occasion, “We all are inhabitants of this mother earth and everyone is a stakeholder. Each person can contributing towards keeping the city clean, save water and protecting the environment”.
Sanjay Tandon was accompanied by Justice KC Puri (Retd), Anurag Aggarwal, Home Secretary Chandigarh, Asha Jaiswal, Mayor and Baldev Raj Mahajan Advocate General Haryana. District President Devi Singh, area Councillor Gurpreet Dhillon, Councillors Shakti Devshali, Jagtar Singh Jagga, Sachin Lohtia and Haji Mohd Khurshid, Mandal President Pardeep Bansal, Deepak Sharma, Anil Gupta were also present on this occasion.
