GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh once again emerged as the first choice of students as per the first merit lists for centralized admission released by the Director, Higher Education, UT for BCom, BBA and BCA here today. The cut-off for SD College remained the highest for all the three streams among all city colleges.
Dr Bhushan Kumar Sharma, Principal, GGDSD College shared, “The top-ranking students have opted for SD College as the first choice for admission. Every year, our seats are filled within no time with the highest cut-offs and this year is no exception. In the General Pool for BCom, student with the highest score of 114 has opted for SD College while our cut off is at 112.20. The highest score in the UT Pool is 114.58 and the student has again chosen our college while the cut-off for UT Pool for SD College stands at 107. All meritorious students have chosen SD College for admission owing to its stimulating learning environment and emphasis on overall development. Students graduating from SD are prepared to handle all challenges of the competitive job market.”
Dr Ajay Sharma, Coordinator BBA for SD College shared that in BBA, the cut off for SD College for the General Pool is 97.8% while that of the UT Pool is 95.75%. The cut off with weightage for the General pool in BCA is 115.60 while that in the UT Pool is 116.40.
