Under the guidance of Chandigarh Administration, Regional Employment Exchange in association with Director Higher Education organized a Motivational Seminar on “Career as an Officer in Indian Air Force”. The event was hosted by DAV College Sector-10, Chandigarh. Group Captain Manish Sabharwal, an Ex-NDA Officer and an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College and College of Air Welfare from DISHA CELL, Air Headquarter(New Delhi) was the motivational speaker. Event was inaugurated by Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, PCS, Director, Higher Education, Dr. B.C.Josan, Principal, DAV College appreciated the event and motivated students.
More than 500 students from different colleges actively participated in the event and came to know about various opportunities in Indian Air Force. Major General(Retd) Sh. I.P.Singh, Director, Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute was also present on the occasion along with students of the institute.
Sh. Bikram Rana (SLO), Ms. Sanjeeda Beri (REO), Ms. Meenaksh Goyal (SREO) were also present. Event was well organized by Dr. Puneet Raini (Placement Co-ordinator), Mr Bibek Bhuyan (NCC Air Wing Incharge) and Ms. Indu (Training and Placement Officer) and other staff members. Such efforts/events will continue in future also.
