DJ SKIP’s new immersive audio visual set Cinema Cinema at #Sector7Social gives Hip Hop and Pop culture in India a turn for the better, bringing new forms of art and sound to light.
The idea of CINEMA CINEMA: Social x Dj Skip’s AV project is just that – To give you more than music to dance, more than just visuals to relate to and more than just a gig to party at The empty void is finally filling up with rainbows, glitch, funk heads, culture and it’s brought us all together, right here right now to collaborate, educate and appreciate!
If sounds can be organized second by second to create a musical masterpiece, imagine the potential of colors and visual art if created in an ascending and exponential manner. The power of music alone is and always will be fierce, but what is it is the feeling of submission?
What started off as a ‘fun’ project, Skip’s Audio visual creations are what he is saying as an artist. The synergy within his music, visuals and spirit on stage is what you feel of complete disbelief – Taking ‘multiple sensory satisfactions’ to a whole new level!
It was a concept that was sparked by the Social Offline crew and it comes to life with some pop culture enthusiasts.
