The Woman and Child Welfare Society, Sector 45-D, Chandigarh organized a Sundarkand Paath programme today. The paath was conducted by Divya Channel fame duo Sunil Dhyani and Manjeet Dhyani.
Ms Pooja Bakshi, president, Woman and Child Welfare Society said, “The aim of this programme was to maintain a balance among all religions and communities. She wants to provide free training in Hindi and Sanskrit languages to the willing people of the area.”
The paath was followed by a bhandara, where hundreds of devotees took the prasadam. Appreciating the good deeds of the organization, the chief guest Sardar Chiranjeev Singh said, “Woman and Child Welfare Society has earned a name in a short period. The society is successfully running a tuition centre, a sewing centre and several other projects.”
Other prominent members present at the function included Amit Zulka, Madhu Bhatnagar, Vineet Jha, Lakhwinder, Varinder Papila and Aman Walia, etc.
