Techtro Swadesh United FC trounced Mumbai City FC 4-0 in Hero I-League Second Division-2023 match. Techtro registered a one-sided victory while playing at their home.
In the match, Techtro Swadesh started with a strong 11 players and did not give chances to the hosts. The players of the team were constantly making moves, but they did not get success till the stipulated 45 minutes. The score remained 0-0 on the board.


In the injury time of the first half, Techtro Swadesh United opened the account. In 45+2 minutes, Teg Singh Brar scored the goal and put the team ahead 1-0. It was the only goal of the first half as Techtro retained their lead.


In the second half, Mumbai changed players and tried to make a new start. Techtro also sent on the field with 5 substitutions. 80 minutes of play had been done and the victory of the team was considered certain. In the 82nd minute, Himanshu Thapa doubled the lead by scoring a goal.


In the last time, Techtro played a brilliant game. They kept on putting pressure on Mumbai City. Hemant scored in the 85th minute and two minutes later Mumbai’s mistake increased the lead. Steiner’s own goal made the score 4–0. Techtro won with this scoreline and registered third victory in the league.


In Group-A of the league, the last match of Techtro Swadesh United FC will be played against Jagat Singh Palahi on 29th April. Mumbai City has played its 8 matches of the league round. The team is at the bottom of the points table.
