The Political Science Association of Department of Political Science, DAV College Sector 10 organized a webinar on the topic “Tips to crack UPSC” on 20th June 2020. The event started with the welcome speech of Dr. Sutapa Saryal, coordinator of the event who introduced the theme of the program and said that the restrictions of physical movements due to Pandemic has been taken as an opportunity by the Department of Political Science to create new domain of virtual learning for the civil service aspirants. Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Principal DAV College with his eloquent words, graced the webinar. He said that the civil servants are the real rulers of the country and advised the students to remain calm and focused even during failure. He congratulated the department for organizing such a relevant program on a virtual platform at time when the civil service aspirants are away from their study circles due to pandemic. The three speakers Mr. Raj Malhotra, M D, Raj Malhotra’s IAS Study Group, Mr Alekh Duhan, IRS and Mr Chitresh Joshi, IRPFS delivered the expert talk. They shared their experiences on how to start preparation for the civil services, select study material and appear before the interview board. The speakers took up the doubts of the students and gave them tips on how to crack UPSC. More than 150 students participated in the program from all over India. Dr. Ghanshyam Dev, HOD Department of Political Science, concluded the event with the vote of thanks to the organizers and participants.
