World No Tobacco day: Poster competition held at St Stephen’s School

To coincide with World No Tobacco Day, a poster competition was  organised by Sahayta Charitable Welfare Society on the subject of ‘Tobacco and lung health’, at St Stephen’s School , Sec 45  here.
 
The idea behind the competition was to increase awareness on the negative impact that tobacco has on people’s health. Use of tobacco in various forms causes cancer and many other chronic diseases. The competition saw students creating very thoughtful posters on the theme. The posters also portrayed the  fundamental role lungs play for the health and well being of all people.
 
The first position was taken by Mishita and Pranjal Bahri;  second spot was awarded to Ravneet and Tulsi while  Naina & Jayati were adjudged third.
